Noomi vs Rooney
Even though I’m really really really excited about David Fincher’s version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, I hope that no-one forgets about Noomi Rapace’s amazing turn as Lisbeth. She kicked ass and I hope Rooney will do the same. I am a little worried that Rooney looks too soft, too vulnerable, too sickly (especially in contrast to Noomi’s androgynous, tough-girl look), but I think she’ll surprise us all. Besides, it’s not a remake of the previous film, it’s a re-adaptation of the book….hmmm. I don’t think that there has to be a ‘better’ film - they can both be good for their own reasons. And I’m pretty sure Daniel Craig will make us all forget about the stiff performance of Michael Nyqvist…
